ELECTION DAY NOVEMBER 3, 2026 Voting information
NICHOLAS ALBERTSON · CITY COUNCIL 2026

A stronger Owosso. Built on trust.

I'm running for City Council to focus on responsible spending, an open and accountable local government, and practical ways to make Owosso a more affordable place to live and work.

Focused on what matters: affordability, accountability,
and opportunity for Owosso.

ALBERTSON FOR OWOSSO
CITY COUNCIL↗
RESPONSIBLE SPENDING. OPEN GOVERNMENT. A STRONGER OWOSSO.
01 / THE PRIORITIES

Let's focus on what matters.

Owosso has some big decisions ahead. My focus is on thoughtful spending, straightforward answers, and making this a city where people and businesses can build a future.

01

Responsible spending

City spending should be carefully reviewed, clearly explained, and focused on real needs. When residents are being asked to pay more, every dollar deserves a closer look.

02

Transparency & trust

Residents deserve to understand what's happening at City Hall and why. Clear information, honest communication, and listening to the public are how we start rebuilding trust.

03

Infrastructure & affordability

Our roads, water systems, and other infrastructure need attention. We must seek outside funding wherever possible, plan repairs wisely, and consider what families can realistically afford.

04

More housing options

Owosso needs places for young people, families, and longtime residents to call home. I want to look at practical ways to encourage housing without overlooking neighborhood needs.

05

Small business & industry

Local shops, employers, and new industries help create opportunity. We should support existing businesses, welcome responsible investment, and make it easier to grow and create jobs here.

My approachAsk questions. Understand the costs. Listen to residents. Make decisions with Owosso's future in mind.
A PRACTICAL APPROACH
Good decisions start with listening and knowing the costs.
02 / A NOTE FROM NICHOLAS

I'm here to listen.

My name is Nicholas Albertson. I'm a local small business owner running for Owosso City Council.

Like many residents, I care about rising costs, the condition of our infrastructure, and whether our city is doing enough to encourage housing and local jobs.

I don't think anyone has all the answers. But I believe residents deserve someone who will do the homework, ask questions, explain decisions, and take their concerns seriously.
